The Charter of best practices and relations amongst colleagues found its origin in the many challenges that conference interpreters had to face during and after the pandemic. It has proven to be a very useful document that allows conference interpreters to continue to offer professional, high-quality interpreting services. It also helps newcomers to find their way onto the Belgian interpreting market.
The most recent version of the Charter of best practices and relations amongst colleagues comprises a small adjustment (page 3 – practical guidelines) to bring it in line with the vade mecum on public tenders and international standards.
We would like to invite you to apply the charter’s recommendations as much as possible and make this document more widely known.
